U Value Insulation Group is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Team in Ireland. This full-time role focuses on the monthly close, cost and margin analysis, payroll review support, and maintaining strong controls across AR/AP and stock.

The ideal candidate is Part-Qualified or an Accounting Technician with 2–3 years of experience, thrives under pressure, and possesses strong Excel and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in a similar role.
• Part-Qualified or Accounting Technician qualification
• Proactive attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Post monthly journals and close processes.
• Assist with monthly management accounts and cost/margin analysis.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany checks.
• Support VAT calculations and annual audit processes.
• Assist budgeting and other ad hoc finance tasks.
