Job summary

Nixon McQuade in Dublin is seeking a solicitor with 1–5 years' PQE in asset finance, banking and/or structured finance to join our growing Dublin practice. You will work on high-quality transactions from start to finish, reviewing documentation and negotiating Irish security packages, and engaging with international clients.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years' PQE in asset finance, banking and/or structured finance.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating transaction documentation.
• Experience preparing Irish security documents (share charges, mortgages, etc.).
• Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.

Join this growing Dublin practice of a leading international law firm.

The team advises a high-quality client base including private equity investors, financial institutions, export credit agencies and airlines across a broad range of asset finance transactions.

The work is varied and internationally focused, covering asset-backed securitisations, aviation platform establishments, warehouse financings, portfolio asset sales and purchases, operating and finance leases and export credit agency facilities.

This is an opportunity to work on high quality transactions from start to finish, advising clients on complex financing structures of high profile nature.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take ownership of transactions, work directly with both domestic and international clients and gain exposure to a broad range of structures and jurisdictions.

The role will also provide opportunities to develop client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

The Person

• 1–5 years' PQE with relevant experience in asset finance, banking and/or structured finance.
• Experience gained within a leading law firm in Ireland, the UK or internationally, or relevant in-house experience.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating transaction documentation from an Irish law perspective.
• Experience preparing and negotiating Irish security documentation, including share charges, account charges and mortgages.
• Strong technical, drafting and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage transactions effectivey and work to competing deadlines.
