Job summary

Rentokil Initial Careers is seeking a Pest Control Technician to cover Dublin 4 & surrounding areas. No prior experience is required as we provide industry-leading training, and you will manage your own schedule while solving customer pest issues.

Your duties include inspecting premises, addressing pest problems, advising on hygiene, and completing reports. A company vehicle, fuel card, pension, and opportunities for overtime and commissions are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Good Time Management – busy day with prioritising workload.
• Enthusiasm to engage with every customer and identify opportunities to generate new business.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting customer premises for signs of pests and identifying potential risks.
• Swiftly tackling pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour.
• Offering valuable advice to customers on maintenance and hygiene of their premises.
• Completing accurate reports after every visit.
• Providing exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image at all times.
