Job summary

Sun Life in Waterford is offering an internship in the Analytics and Automation Centre of Excellence. You will work on automation, data analytics, and tooling for the network services ecosystem, with on-site supervision and learning opportunities.

You will develop data extraction tools, dashboards, and visualizations, participate in agile projects, and collaborate with AACoE and ENS stakeholders to deliver secure, efficient solutions that support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent; BS preferred.
• Progressive network and information technology, data extraction, data visualization and analysis.
• Hands-on coding experience in Python, R, C++, Java, or Perl.
• Knowledge of Network Programmability and integration with YANG, YAML, XML, JSON, NETCONF, RESTCONF

Responsibilities

• Assist in advancing the enabling technologies for Automation, Data & Analytics, DevOps, API, and Digital Assets, within Network Services' and business partners for on-premises or in-cloud services and technologies.
• Help Develop and deploy automation and analytical solutions, data extraction tools, visualizations, dashboards, machine learning models, and promote analytics throughout DBTS.
• Participate and collaborate with AACoE peers and ENS stakeholders to, improve processes, increase efficiency by delivering analytics and automation solutions that are effective and secure.
• Perform analysis and communicate reports gained from data, transforming them into insights of actionable solutions, helping the stakeholders to make educated business decisions
