Job summary

Avoca in Monkstown is seeking a dedicated Butcher to support the team across Avoca stores. You will prepare and present butcher products to a high standard, ensuring HACCP and safety compliance while delivering excellent customer service. You will also coordinate with suppliers to maintain quality and pricing.

Qualifications

• Timekeeping: Excellent timekeeping and attendance are required.
• Communication: Regular communication with line manager to maximise efficiency.
• Flexibility: Roster changes and cover on short-staffed days may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present butcher products to a high standard following approved recipes.
• Adhere to HACCP and food safety regulations and internal SOPs and labeling requirements.
• Prepare and produce butcher products for Avoca stores per internal orders.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers while monitoring quality and pricing.
