Job summary

Atlantic Search Ltd. is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to design and build a shared AI/ML platform that serves multiple engineering and research teams.

This hands-on role emphasizes practical system design and scalable infrastructure rather than developing new models. You will translate ambiguous problems into concrete experiments, prototype and benchmark options, and collaborate with engineering and research to deliver reliable, scalable solutions for traditional ML and emerging AI

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background, particularly Python and systems design.
• Solid understanding of traditional machine learning, including algorithms, model training, validation and evaluation.
• A scientific approach to problem-solving, with experience designing experiments, testing hypotheses and making evidence-based technical decisions.
• Ability to move from technical discovery and experimentation through to architecture and implementation.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer to help design and build a shared AI/ML platform supporting multiple engineering and research teams.

This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong applied research component. You'll tackle complex technical problems, design targeted experiments and evaluate different systems and architectures to determine the most effective solutions.

The focus isn't on developing new AI models, but on designing or selecting the systems and infrastructure that enable machine learning at scale.
