Job summary

Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for transporting construction andexcavation materials safely and efficiently between project sites, loadingareas and other designated locations.

MainResponsibilities

• Operate articulated and rigid HGVtipper vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Transport materials including soil,stone and aggregates between sites and designated locations.
• Carry out daily vehicle safetychecks, including tyres, brakes, lights and fluid levels.
• Ensure loads are safely distributedand secured before travelling.
• Follow assigned routes, deliveryschedules and site instructions.
• Maintain accurate tachograph,driving-time, mileage and working-time records.
• Comply with road safety, drivers'hours, tachograph and company procedures.
• Report any vehicle defects,mechanical faults or safety concerns promptly.
• Operate tipping equipment safelywhen loading and unloading materials.
• Keep the vehicle clean, safe and ingood working condition.

Requirements

• Valid Category CE driving licence,or equivalent licence category recognised by the Road Safety Authority under amutual recognition agreement.
• Previous professional HGV drivingexperience, preferably operating articulated and/or rigid tipper vehicles.
• Good knowledge of road safety,drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Ability to carry out routine vehiclechecks and maintain accurate driving records.
• Driver CPC and Digital TachographCard, or ability to obtain/complete the relevant requirements before commencingprofessional driving in Ireland.
• Safe Pass, or ability to obtain itbefore commencing work on construction sites.
• Where applicable, employment issubject to the successful grant of the relevant Irish Employment Permit andimmigration permission.
