Job summary

SFM Energy Ltd seeks an experienced ADR Artic Driver to join our growing team, transporting bulk LPG and other gas products across Ireland and the UK. You will operate articulated vehicles, maintain safety standards and ensure on-time deliveries while complying with ADR and tachograph rules.

This full-time role involves cross-channel UK runs, overnight stays, and variable shift patterns. Weekend work may be required, with pay in the range of €170–€210 per day.

Qualifications

• Full CE (Artic) Licence required.
• ADR Licence including Class 2 gases – training can be provided.
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience in Oil/gas or ADR goods transport.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Transport bulk LPG or other gas products on curtainsider and some tanker work.
• Cross-channel runs from the UK with overnight stays.
• Ensure ADR, tachograph and vehicle maintenance compliance.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks, documentation and load integrity.

Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced ADR Artic Driver to join our growing team. This role involves the safe and efficient transport of bulk gas loads from Ireland and UK, ensuring compliance with ADR and road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work is mainly irish work on curtainsider with some tanker work
• Operate articulated vehicles carrying bulk LPG or other gas products
• Will include some cross-channel runs from the UK (including internal UK runs & overnight stops (lying out).
• Ensure full compliance with ADR, tachograph, and vehicle maintenance regulations
• Carry out daily vehicle checks, documentation, and load integrity

Requirements:

• Full CE (Artic) Licence
• Valid ADR Licence (including Class 2 gases) - training can be provided
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience in Oil/gas or ADR goods transport
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Previous experience of cross-channel runs beneficial
• Weekend work may be required
• Flexibility for overnight stays and variable shift patterns
