Our client, a large grocery chain, is looking for an Area Manager to join their well-established team and assist them with managing the stores in the Dublin area.

We are looking for strong retail professionals who have gained proven experience in a similar role. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a district, overseeing all Store Managers

Foster a positive, high-performing team environment

Coach, support, and develop Store Managers to drive success

Monitor and optimise stock flow and cash management

Conduct regular district tours with the Sales Executive

Provide analysis and feedback to support key projects

Manage store openings, refurbishments, and re-openings

Develop and execute annual business plans and staffing strategies

Define and track KPIs to ensure operational excellence

Align district performance with company strategy

Prepare for and actively contribute to Area Manager meetings

Requirements

A minimum 2.1 degree in any discipline or at least 3 years of management experience

Strong communication, planning, organisational, and analytical skills

A motivated, flexible, and results-driven leader

Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams

A genuine interest in building a long-term career in retail
