The Architect, Core Platforms is responsible for leading the evolution of D&B’s Core platforms that resolve, enrich and deliver trusted commercial data to customer-facing products and internal consumers. Partnering with engineering, product, data, SRE and architecture teams to translate strategic platform needs into secure, resilient, maintainable and cost-effective solutions.
This role will guide senior engineers, influence architecture and delivery decisions, and ensure that technical designs are grounded in operational reality, customer value and measurable outcomes.
Provide architectural leadership for the Core platforms, defining scalable, resilient, secure and cost-effective designs for high-volume identity resolution, data processing, publishing and integration workloads.
Write and review production-quality code, create reference implementations and proof-of-concepts, unblock complex engineering problems, and help teams turn architecture into working software.
Define and communicate technical strategy and roadmaps for platform modernization, partner with product, data, SRE and engineering stakeholders, and align architectural direction with measurable business and customer outcomes.
Identify architectural, operational and data-quality risks early; evaluate trade-offs across reliability, scalability, latency, consistency, delivery timelines and cost; and drive standards, tooling and engineering practices that improve long-term maintainability.
Mentor senior engineers and technical leads, foster strong design thinking and shared ownership, and help build a culture that balances customer focus, engineering excellence and pragmatic delivery.
