Job summary

Orona MidWestern Lifts in Limerick is seeking an Apprentice Lift Engineer to join our team. You will learn from experienced Lift Engineers and participate in a structured development programme to become a qualified Lift Engineer. Training covers lift installation, maintenance, and essential health and safety practices.

Employment is through a formal in-house apprenticeship with SOLAS, providing hands-on experience, support, and progression toward full professional status within Orona Group.

Qualifications

Leaving Certificate with five passes (Maths and English required).
Ishihara colour vision test must be completed on the SOLAS form.
Ideally hold a Full Clean Irish Driving Licence with business travel insurance.

Responsibilities

Learn and assist Lift Engineers to understand company requirements and become a qualified Lift Engineer.
Assist with tasks suited to training level in lift installation and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with health and safety practices.
