Job summary

Accenture Ireland is seeking an Applied Scientist to bridge state-of-the-art AI research and real-world impact. You will translate ML/NLP techniques into scalable solutions spanning datasets, products, and client environments.

You will own end-to-end AI solution lifecycles from problem framing to validation, deployment, and measurable outcomes, collaborating with researchers, engineers, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD with strong AI/ML background.
• Proven ability to translate research into practical AI solutions.
• Strong programming in Python with ML frameworks.
• Experience in designing and running controlled experiments.

Responsibilities

• Research synthesis: summarize the latest AI research for practical use.
• Adapt foundation/model techniques to domain-specific tasks using fine-tuning, LoRA, etc.
• Design and implement agentic LLM systems that integrate external tools and data sources.
• Prototype development in collaboration with Senior Research Scientists for PoCs.
• Communicate research findings clearly to academic and business audiences.
• Craft compelling demos and narratives showing research impact to stakeholders.
