Job summary

TrendAI is offering a paid 8-month work placement in its Applied AI Engineering team, Cork. You will write code, run experiments, and ship features that matter with defined project ownership and structured mentor support.

There is a Career Success Ready Programme to help you launch a successful career; over the last five years, many interns transitioned to permanent roles. Travel to other European offices may be available.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
• Foundational Python skills and enthusiasm for clean, well-structured code.
• Some exposure to ML/AI concepts — coursework, personal projects, Kaggle, or online learning.

Responsibilities

• Join TrendAI's Applied AI Engineering team and contribute to real products with real users.
• Write code, run experiments, and ship features that matter under guidance from experienced engineers and business professionals.
• Take part in our Career Success Ready Programme to support a successful career and potential conversion to a graduate role.
