Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Sr Manager, Analytics Operations - DevOps to lead DevOps capabilities for analytics platforms, data, AI/ML, and enterprise solutions. You will drive CI/CD, IaC, and automation while ensuring security, compliance, and cost efficiency across global teams.

The role partners with data engineers, AI/ML teams, architects, and cybersecurity to accelerate delivery, maintain reliability, and scale operations in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized architectures.
• Expertise with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such CloudFormation.
• Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions such as Grafana, CloudWatch
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience supporting mission-critical production systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices including CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing.
• Partner with architecture teams to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Build and maintain automated pipelines for analytics assets, applications, data pipelines, and AI/ML solutions.
• Implement automated testing, deployment, validation, and rollback capabilities.
• Improve software delivery velocity while reducing deployment risks and failures.
• Design, implement, and manage cloud-native infrastructure primarily on AWS.
• Develop scalable, secure platform capabilities supporting analytics, data, and AI workloads.
• Manage Kubernetes environments, container platforms, networking, storage, and compute services.
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using CloudFormation or similar technologies.
• Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability frameworks.
• Develop dashboards and metrics for operational visibility into health and spend.
• Enable deployment and operation of analytics products, ML models, GenAI solutions, and data platforms.
• Collaborate with DataOps, MLOps, AI Operations, and application support teams.
