Job summary

White-Recruitment is seeking an Air Conditioning Service Engineer in Dublin to service and maintain air source heat pump systems, leveraging refrigeration and electrical fault-finding skills. Air Conditioning Engineer – Move into Heat Pumps

We’re recruiting a Refrigeration or Air Conditioning Engineer with a valid F-Gas qualification who wants to move into the rapidly growing heat pump sector.

This is an excellent opportunity to use your existing refrigeration, controls and fault-finding experience while receiving further training on air source heat pumps and renewable heating systems.

The Role

• Service and maintain air source heat pump systems
• Carry out fault finding across refrigeration circuits, controls and heating systems
• Support commissioning and system optimisation
• Diagnose issues with compressors, valves, sensors and associated electrical components
• Carry out planned maintenance and warranty work
• Complete service reports and technical documentation
• Provide technical support to installers and customers
• Develop your knowledge across hydronic heating systems and heat pump applications

The Candidate

• Background as a Refrigeration Engineer or Air Conditioning Engineer
• Strong refrigeration and electrical fault-finding skills
• Experience with splits, VRF/VRV, chillers or similar HVAC equipment
• Comfortable working independently on customer sites
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
• Full Irish driving licence
• Heat pump experience is not essential – full product and technical training can be provided
