Job summary

Clorox is seeking an AI & Application Security Engineer to secure enterprise AI, GenAI, and agentic AI platforms from design through production. You will embed AI-specific security controls, API security, identity safeguards, and risk mitigation into AI apps, agents, and workflows.

Collaborate with Cybersecurity, IAM, Architecture, Cloud, Data, and product teams to ensure secure, compliant, and production-ready AI solutions while implementing guardrails and secure tool calling.

Qualifications

• Experience in application security, cloud security, IAM, DevSecOps, API security, and emerging AI security practices.
• Translate security requirements into practical engineering patterns that enable responsible AI delivery.
• Knowledge of AI security testing technologies such as AI Guard or equivalent runtime protection.
• Strong partnership with cloud, architecture, IAM, data, integration and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed AI-specific security controls, API security practices, identity safeguards, and logging into AI applications and workflows.
• Partner with Cybersecurity, IAM, Architecture, Cloud, Data, Engineering, Legal/Privacy, product teams and vendors to ensure secure AI solutions.
• Implement AI guardrails, prompt-injection protections, least-privilege access, threat modeling, and security testing.
