The successful candidate combines deep AI expertise with strong commercial and consulting skills, supporting four offerings: AI Readiness, AI Governance, AI Assurance and AI Solutions, while connecting Ireland with Expleo Group

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in AI, data, technology consulting, digital transformation, product or service leadership, architecture, assurance or a closely related field.
• Deep, current knowledge of enterprise AI, including generative AI, machine learning, solution patterns, adoption challenges, controls and emerging technology.
• A track record of shaping, launching or maturing client-facing technology services, propositions or capability programmes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in shaping and activating service offerings; define value propositions, target clients, use cases, delivery models, risks and evidence for AI Readiness, Governance, Assurance and Solutions.
• Support the creation of reusable capability: turn domain expertise into playbooks, assessments, accelerators, demonstrations and sales enablement assets.

Expleo is seeking a senior AI leader to help industrialise, govern and grow AI-enabled services across Ireland. Working across the service portfolio, the role will enable Directors of Service and domain experts to turn AI ambition into credible, repeatable and market-ready services while preserving clear service ownership.

The successful candidate will combine deep, current AI expertise with strong commercial, consulting and influencing skills. They will support four dedicated offerings AI Readiness, AI Governance, AI Assurance and AI Solutions, while overseeing local EVOLVE activity, enabling the AI Champions network, connecting Ireland with Expleo Group capability, and representing Expleo as a visible AI thought leader.

What you will enable

• Launch and mature Expleo Ireland’s four dedicated AI offerings.
• Help every service apply AI through EVOLVE to improve quality, productivity, insight and client value.
• Provide trusted AI expertise, practical challenge and clear guidance to service leaders and specialists.
• Connect Irish priorities with Expleo Group assets, communities and initiatives.
• Build market credibility through informed client engagement, thought leadership and responsible adoption.

Scope of the role

Assist in the definition, activation and improvement AI Readiness, Governance, Assurance and Solutions.

Directors retain offering, client and service accountability.

EVOLVE

Support the development of appropriate AI use in existing services and delivery methods.

Each Director owns their service AI journey.

AI Champions

Mobilise learning, advocacy, use cases and feedback.

Champions remain embedded in their teams.

Group and market

Reuse Group capability, represent Irish needs and strengthen Expleo’s external profile.

Activity aligns with agreed local and Group governance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in shaping and activating service offerings define value propositions, target clients, use cases, delivery models, risks and evidence for AI Readiness, Governance, Assurance and Solutions.
• Support the creation of reusable capability turn domain expertise into playbooks, assessments, accelerators, demonstrations and sales enablement assets, supported by a practical offering lifecycle.
• Enable service leaders advise and challenge Directors and specialists, facilitate cross-service alignment and preserve their accountability for strategy, investment, client commitments and delivery.
• Lead local EVOLVE oversight help services set AI ambitions, prioritise use cases, establish roadmaps and controls, and convert proven ideas into standard methods with measurable outcomes.
• Mobilise AI Champions equip the network with practical learning, engagement formats and escalation routes; share successful use cases and reduce fragmented experimentation.
• Connect with Expleo Group reuse relevant methods and assets, connect subject-matter experts, and represent Irish market, client and regulatory needs in Group forums.
• Support growth and market presence contribute to opportunity shaping, workshops, proposals, mobilisation, campaigns, case studies, conferences and executive client dialogue.
• Champion responsible AI embed quality, privacy, security, intellectual property, model risk, human oversight, accessibility and regulatory considerations, escalating material risks appropriately.

Role boundaries and decision rights

• The role recommends, influences, coordinates and enables; the relevant Director of Service remains accountable and makes final service decisions.
• It may lead agreed cross-cutting activity but is not the default owner of every AI initiative or client engagement.
• It supports commercial shaping and mobilisation but cannot independently commit delivery scope, commercials, architecture or risk positions outside agreed authority.
• Local activity should reuse Group capability where appropriate while reflecting Irish market and client requirements.

• Directors of Service; service domain experts and delivery leaders; Sales, Account and Marketing teams; Operations and capability teams; Expleo Group AI communities; AI Champions; and clients, partners and industry bodies.

• An established external network or contribution to AI forums, research, standards, conferences or thought leadership.

Experience

• Strong influence at senior level without direct authority, with credibility in executive conversations, workshops, proposals and external forums.
• Excellent communication and the ability to turn complex ideas to practical roadmaps, repeatable methods, usable assets and measurable outcomes.
• Sound judgement on responsible AI, risk, quality, privacy, security, governance and regulation.
