Job summary

DocuSign is seeking an AI Platform Engineer for the AI Productivity Platforms team in Ireland. You will own secure operation, governance, and adoption of enterprise AI tools, managing platform config, identity, policy controls, and employee enablement while building cohesive, trusted AI workflows across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience.

• Proficiency in Python or Java and security/compliance controls.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and enable enterprise AI capabilities with Claude, Gemini, Antigravity, Atlassian Rovo, and Slack, including SSO and integrations.
• Design and deploy agentic AI solutions using frameworks like CrewAI and Vertex AI.
• Monitor platform health, usage, and license utilization with vendors.
• Partner with Security and IT to implement data handling and compliance policies.
• Lead rollouts of new AI tools from pilots to company-wide deployment.
• Own onboarding, documentation, and self-service guidance for adoption.
• Develop training, office hours, and champion programs for AI usage.
• Define and maintain the AI platform roadmap aligning with business needs.
• Evaluate emerging tools and invest in capabilities to advance AI strategy.

What you'll do

As an AI Platform Engineer on the AI Productivity Platforms team, you will own the secure operation, governance, and adoption of Docusign's enterprise AI tools. You will manage platform configuration, identity and access, policy controls, and employee enablement while designing and deploying agentic AI solutions. Partnering with IT, Security, and business teams, you will build secure, compliant, and scalable AI workflows that improve the employee experience and protect enterprise systems and data. Your mission is to bring tools such as Claude, Gemini, Slackbot, and Rovo into a cohesive, trusted platform that empowers every employee to use AI safely and effectively.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Cloud Apps.

Responsibility

• Build, deploy, and enable enterprise AI capabilities using tools such as Claude, Gemini, Antigravity, Atlassian Rovo, and Slack, including SSO, access controls, and integrations with enterprise systems
• Design and deploy agentic AI solutions using frameworks and platforms such as CrewAI and Vertex AI to autonomously resolve common EUS service requests, incidents, and routine tasks
• Monitor platform health, usage, and license utilization, and coordinate with vendors to resolve escalated issues
• Partner with Security and IT to implement data handling, retention, and compliance policies across AI tools and integrations
• Lead rollouts of new AI tools and features, from initial pilots through company-wide deployment
• Own employee onboarding, documentation, and self-service guidance to simplify adoption and reduce support requests
• Develop and deliver training, office hours, and champion programs that help teams apply AI effectively in their daily work
• Define and maintain the AI platform roadmap for the Employee Productivity Platform, aligning priorities with business needs and employee productivity goals
• Evaluate emerging enterprise AI tools and agent capabilities, and recommend investments that advance Docusign's AI strategy

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, IT automation, or enterprise systems development
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks, workflow automation, or intelligent IT service management
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and integrating retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines into enterprise solutions
• Experience with at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python or Java
• Experience implementing security and compliance controls within AI or automation solutions
• Experience with IT operations, incident management, and enterprise ticketing systems
• Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
• Experience creating user documentation, supporting onboarding, or delivering technical training

Preferred

• Experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise AI solutions using platforms such as Claude, Gemini, Antigravity, Glean, or Atlassian Rovo
• Experience developing secure integrations between AI agents and enterprise systems such as Slackbot, Jira, Confluence, and Google Workspace using APIs, permission-aware connectors, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Hands-on experience developing and evaluating AI agents, enterprise search capabilities, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, with attention to retrieval quality, data permissions, and governance
• Experience engineering agent deployment and lifecycle automation, including testing, versioning, observability, token management, and secure service identities
• Track record of taking AI solutions from proof of concept to production, incorporating user feedback and delivering measurable improvements in employee productivity
• Experience shaping technical roadmaps, evaluating AI platforms and frameworks, and optimizing solution reliability, performance, scalability, and cost
• Strong communication skills
