Job summary

emagine is hiring an AI Engineer to design, build, test and deploy AI solutions that power business use cases. You will develop AI components, data pipelines, and integrations, applying prompt and model engineering while collaborating with data, architecture, and AI teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience designing, building, testing and deploying AI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on AI application development and integration into business processes.
• Proven experience with data integration and structured/unstructured data.
• Experience with prompt and model engineering, evaluation and optimisation.
• Experience with APIs, application integration and enterprise tech environments.
• Experience taking AI solutions from PoC to production deployment.
• Software engineering skills for maintainable, production-ready code.
• Cloud-based AI technologies and modern AI development platforms.
• Understanding AI/ML lifecycle management including monitoring and improvement.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and deploy AI solutions from concept to production.
• Develop AI use case components, apps, services and automations.
• Develop and integrate data pipelines to support AI solutions.
• Design and implement API and integration mechanisms to embed AI.
• Apply prompt and model engineering to meet business requirements.
• Evaluate models, prompts and approaches with proper testing.
• Develop automated workflows using AI to improve processes.
• Collaborate with AI Architects and technical teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Support deployment and handover with technical docs and artefacts.
• Provide operational support and troubleshooting, driving continuous improvement.
• Contribute to reusable AI engineering patterns for future delivery.
