Job summary

Oliver James Associates Ltd. seeks an AI-focused SRE to run, deploy and support AI workloads and internal platforms in a hybrid Dublin environment on a 12‑month contract with potential to go permanent.

You will collaborate with developers to keep services reliable, observable and scalable, with emphasis on uptime, incident response and continuous improvement across production and near‑production environments.

Qualifications

3–5 years' experience in SRE, DevOps, Production Engineering or related discipline.
Hands-on Splunk and Dynatrace monitoring, observability and alerting in production.
Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field or equivalent
Strong CI/CD automation experience with Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins and related tools
Experience running/ deploying AI/ML workloads in production or near production environments

Responsibilities

Act as steward of production, ensuring services are reliable, observable and resilient.
Support full lifecycle of services from design to deployment and operation.
Monitor and maintain production and near-production environments for uptime and health.
Develop and improve Splunk and Dynatrace queries, dashboards and alerts.
Investigate incidents and identify root causes to improve reliability.
Support AI workloads deployment and operation with internal AI tools and platforms.
Collaborate with developers to deploy and operate AI tools and platforms.
Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes; run deployment plans with XLR.
Develop automation to reduce manual intervention and improve software delivery.
Review deployment processes and suggest operational enhancements.
Assist design reviews, capacity planning and operational readiness.
