Job summary

Aon is seeking a Delivery Leader for AI, Data & Insights in Dublin. This hybrid role focuses on leading multi-disciplinary teams to advance AI-enabled products and modern data capabilities, moving concepts from pilot to scalable production.

You will guide agile delivery across onshore and distributed teams, partner with architects and product managers, and promote disciplined SDLC practices, security, and governance to deliver trusted insights at scale.

Qualifications

Experience leading software, data, analytics, or AI delivery teams through full SDLC.
Strong cloud-native design, APIs, data pipelines, integration patterns, security, testing, DevOps and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams through agile planning, execution, demos, retrospectives, and releases.
Translate product objectives into executable delivery plans, technical work items, and high-quality releases.
Support deployment of AI-enabled capabilities such as retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, document intelligence, structured extraction, analytics, and GPT-powered applications that help colleagues access trusted insights faster.
Promote strong SDLC discipline, testing practices, CI/CD, observability, documentation, and operational readiness so solutions are secure, scalable, supportable, and aligned with enterprise architecture and governance expectations.
Manage work across distributed teams, including onshore, nearshore, offshore, and supplier resources.
Provide clear updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to product, technology, and business stakeholders.
Coach engineers, analysts, and delivery contributors on agile execution, technical delivery practices, estimation, backlog readiness, sprint health, and continuous improvement.
