Job summary

Dell Technologies in Cork, Ireland, is seeking a Technical Staff AI Architect to lead Agentic AI/GenAI initiatives and architect scalable AI/ML solutions. You will drive the GEN AI strategy and transform customer support toward autonomous agentic systems.

The role requires 15+ years in applied science or complex software, deep expertise in DL/LLMs, and strong Python development with cloud AI frameworks. You will mentor IPs, research, and publications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' experience in applied science or complex software systems delivering DL/LLM solutions.
• Advanced experience with Python, ETL pipelines (Airflow preferred) and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong software development skills in Python with AI frameworks in cloud environments; knowledge of ML, NLP, IR, Recommender Systems and LLMs.
• Experience with container & orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure); training and applying LLMs for agentic AI applications.
• Proficiency in designing and developing multi-agent systems where multiple AI agents collaborate to achieve complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Own the full AI/ML lifecycle from prototype to deployment, ensuring robust, scalable solutions aligned with AI-product needs.
• Design, develop, and implement AI agents capable of autonomous decision-making and action.
• Stay current with the latest AI advancements and proactively apply new technologies to enhance team projects and drive innovation.
• Mentor IPs, research publications and white papers; act as a thought leader and promote best practices.
