This role supports the focused AI team needed to accelerate prioritized use cases using the enterprise Agentic AI Factory reference architecture: governed agents, reusable skills, trusted data/knowledge layers, secure integration, human oversight, AgentOps, evaluation, and FinOps/value management.
The Agent Platform Engineer will play a pivotal role in enabling Clorox's enterprise AI strategy by building the reusable foundation that allows AI solutions to be rapidly deployed, governed, and scaled across the business. Faster delivery of strategic AI initiatives and productivity gains
Reduced time and cost to develop future AI solutions through reusable capabilities
Scalable and secure deployment of AI across the enterprise
Improved decision-making through trusted access to data and knowledge
Greater business value realisation through governance, AgentOps, telemetry, and FinOps practices
Competitive advantage through accelerated AI innovation and automation
Help shape how AI is implemented across a Fortune 500 consumer goods company, creating capabilities that thousands of employees could eventually leverage.

Partner with senior leaders, architects, security teams, product owners, data engineers, and business stakeholders to solve high-value business challenges.
Build AI capabilities that improve decision-making, automate complex workflows, increase productivity, and create measurable business value.
7-10 years software engineering, platform engineering, data/AI engineering, automation, or cloud application development; 5-7 years with MS/PhD acceptable.
3+ years building cloud-native applications, APIs, automation, data/AI solutions, or platform services.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Python/TypeScript/C#, GitHub/Azure DevOps, CI/CD, API integration, telemetry, and secure development practices.
Experience in backend engineering tasks such as building token-based authorization frameworks and integrating enterprise-grade IAM solution.

Software engineering depth in Python, C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, YAML, IaC, GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps, testing and observability.
Experience implementing reusable agent skills, action connectors, approval flows, eval tests, troubleshooting runtime and tool-call failures.
