Job summary

Kids Inc. in Limerick, Ireland, is seeking Afterschool Relief Team Members to support multiple local services during staff absences for the 2026/2027 term-time. This on-site role provides care after school, welcomes homework support, and enrichment activities in a safe environment.

You’ll cover shifts across local Kids Inc. services, helping centres maintain high-quality care, with Garda Vetting and references as part of the joining process. Hourly pay is €15.75.

Qualifications

• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Help children settle after school and support a positive transition to the afternoon programme.
• Assist children with homework in a calm, structured environment.
• Lead and participate in activities including sports, arts and crafts, imaginative play and outdoor play.
• Foster children’s social, emotional, physical and creative development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues across services.
• Support the day-to-day running of Afterschool programmes when needed.
