Sherpa Kids is seeking a part-time team member in Ireland to supervise children before and after school and during holidays, on-site at partner schools. You will assist with homework, lead planned activities, and help create a safe, engaging environment for primary school children.

This role requires energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to travel between local schools as needed. Garda vetting and written references are required before starting.

Competenze

• Experience working with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Job Description

Supervise children during activities and free play.

Assistwith homework and educational tasks.

Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.

Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.

Assistwith games, crafts, and group activities.

Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year).

Basic knowledge of child development.

Proficiencyin English, both verbal and written.

Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).

At least 2 written references checks arerequiredbefore starting.

Additional Information

Having your own car for travel is preferred as you may need to travel to other schools in the area when covering shifts.

Monday-Friday: 8am-9am and 2pm-6pm
