Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland offers Before School, After School, and Holiday Club programmes tailored to local schools. The Floater role supports more than one site, supervises children, assists with homework, and leads a variety of activities in indoor and outdoor settings.

We seek energetic staff with at least 1 year of experience with school-aged children, good English, and Garda vetting completed after interview. Flexible part-time hours from 8:00 to 9:00 and 13:15 to 18:00.

Qualifications

• Experience with school aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Floater – assists in more than one location and supports more than one team.
• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (both indoors and outdoors) with the children each day.
• Bring lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.

Skills

Job Description

Floater - Assists in more than one location as has the opportunity to support more than one team

Supervise children during activities and free play
