Job summary

Sherpa Kids is hiring for an After School Coordinator in Ireland to supervise children, assist with homework, and lead engaging indoor and outdoor activities. The role requires energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to creating a safe, inclusive environment for school-aged children.

Applicants must have at least 1 year of relevant experience, basic knowledge of child development, strong English skills, Garda vetting (to be completed after interview), and work permit/VISA.

Qualifications

• Garda vetting to be completed after interview.
• Work permit/VISA required to work in Ireland.
• At least 2 written references before start.

Job Description

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• Work Permit/ VISA essential
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting
