Kids Inc. is inviting applicants for Afterschool Childcare Assistants to support its services in South Dublin for the 2026/2027 school term. Roles are across Ballinteer ETNS and Holy Trinity NS, Dublin 16 and 18, Leopardstown.

The position offers a €15.75 per hour rate, a guaranteed minimum of 10 hours weekly with potential for 20–25 extra hours, and in-house training. As an Afterschool Childcare Assistant, you will help children unwind after school, assist with homework, and participate in

Qualifications

Previous experience with children is preferred.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

Help children settle after school and support a positive transition into the afternoon programme.
Support children with homework in a calm and structured environment.
Lead and participate in activities including sports, games, arts and crafts, imaginative play, and outdoor play.
Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and creative development.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Assist with the day-to-day running of the service.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children.
