Eligibility

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

Day to Day responsibility for children in your room. Implementing and reviewing activities appropriate to the individual and group needs so as to provide for children's physical, language, emotional, social and cognitive development. Providing a caring and safe environment. Communicate with parents/guardians. Choosing, organising and maintaining equipment and materials. Overseeing that all records are kept up to date in your room. Update records regarding the child and their daily routine. To work with all staff for the benefit of the child. Awareness of Health and Safety regulations. Garda vetting applies.
