Job summary

Queen Creek Unified School District in Arizona seeks a diligent Student Support - Classified staff member for Community Education after school hours. The role supports daily operations during the 17.5 weekly hours from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, across 180 school days within a 9-month term.

Responsibilities include building rapport with students and families, assisting the Site Lead, and performing safety-conscious duties.

JOB GOAL

To assist in the daily processes and activities throughout the school year.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to communicate with parents, staff and students.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Current QCUSD High School Student preferred.
• Knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations and rules.
• Excellent customer service and reliability.
• For those 18+: Must pass a background clearance and must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., be able to exert 25 -30 lbs. of force frequently, push, pull or otherwise move.
• Ability to walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, and to sit for long periods of time.

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT

180 Days; 9 Months; Part-time
