Job summary

Enable Ireland in Cork is seeking a motivated Administration Support Grade 1 to join the Children’s Disability Network Team. The role offers a Specified Purpose Contract (covering sick leave) and up to 35 hours per week.

You will provide broad administrative support, manage IT tasks, and assist with database duties, with a focus on accurate record keeping and customer service. Applicants should have Leaving Certificate, at least 1 year secretarial experience, and be eligible to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

  • Leaving certificate or equivalent standard of education.
  • A minimum of 1 years’ relevant secretarial/administrative experience.
  • Excellent IT skills, including extensive use of and proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
  • Experience of working with a database software system.
  • Fluency in the English language (written & verbal).
  • Eligible to work in the State.
  • Experience of working in a similar role in the healthcare/disability or equivalent sector.
  • Experience of working at reception.
  • A relevant secretarial/business or IT qualification.

We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Administration Support Grade 1 to join our team in Cork Childrens’ Services.

Contract Type: Specified Purpose Contract (covering sick leave)

Contract Hours: up to 35 hours per week

Salary Scale: €28,377 to €45,992 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments)

This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.

Annual Leave Entitlement: Annual leave entitlement is 30 days pro rata per annum.

The successful candidate will have

  • Leaving certificate or equivalent standard of education
  • A minimum of 1 years’ relevant secretarial/administrative experience
