Beechfield Care Group is recruiting an Activities Coordinator for Glengara Park Nursing Home in Glasthule, Dublin, Ireland. The role focuses on assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating resident activity programs to support social interaction and engagement.

Responsibilities include coordinating group and individual activities, providing in-room activities when needed, maintaining care-plan documentation and developing monthly calendars and quality improvement plans for the Activity

• Completes the activity assessment and care plan documentation following the gathering of information to reflect the individual resident s functional level, problems, needs and interests.
• Documents activity related information on the residents' charts. Reviews staff s chart entries for completeness.
• Develop monthly calendar of planned activities.
• Develops and reviews continuous quality improvement plans for the Activity Programme

Beechfield Care Group are currently seeking to recruit an activities coordinator to assume responsibility for the care of residents at Glengara Park Nursing Home, Glenageary Rd Lower, Glasthule, Dublin A96 H242. About Glengara Park Nursing Home

Glengara Park is set in a distinctive Victorian country house with large gardens. We are fortunate to be close to Sandycove and its amenities including churches, bus routes and the Dart. We are also just a short walk from the sea, close to Dun Laoghaire Harbour and the People's Park. Beautifully maintained and carefully extended over time, we now have accommodation for our residents in 62 single and two double rooms. The tastefully decorated rooms are served by spacious stairwells and lifts and by 24 hour nursing care. Specialised equipment and activities are arranged for each resident to ensure everyone feels at home.

The Role:

The Activities Coordinator assesses, plans, implements and evaluates programs for resident activities which are multi-faceted, meet the resident's functional needs, and reflect interests of each resident.
