Sigmar Recruitment in Cork is seeking a Book-keeper for a permanent role based in Macroom, with five days in the office. You will maintain daily receipts, payments and general ledger, set up and maintain client ledgers, process payroll, prepare monthly bank reconciliations and year-end liaison with auditors.

The role requires accuracy and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy office, with exposure to VAT returns and creditor payments.

Qualificações

• Experience in bookkeeping and ledger maintenance.
• Payroll processing knowledge.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain daily receipts, payments and general ledger.
• Setup and maintain new client ledgers.
• Maintain Register of Undertakings.
• Generate payment runs.
• Payroll processing.
• Reconcile monthly creditor statements.
• Pay creditors.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare month-end reports.
• Liaise with external Auditor for client year end.
• Handle Revenue/ROS VAT returns.
• Answer ad hoc queries and investigations.
• Provide admin support including filing and office duties.
