Job summary

Green Fox Selection is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager/Part Qualified Accountant in Ireland to lead the AP function, driving efficiency and control across supplier invoicing, approvals and payments.

You will mentor the AP team, oversee reconciliations, and support finance transformation initiatives while maintaining strong internal controls and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Accounts Payable supervisory/manager roles.
• Demonstrated leadership to develop and motivate teams.
• Solid knowledge of AP processes, controls and best practices.
• Excellent organisation; can manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building across the business.
• Proficient in Excel and finance/ERP systems.

• Drive continuous process improvements and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency.
• Support finance transformation initiatives and systems enhancements.
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with internal policies
• Prepare management information and reporting relating to Accounts Payable activities.
• Manage, mentor and develop the Accounts Payable team.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in an Accounts Payable Supervisor, Team Lead or Manager role.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes, controls, and best practices.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.
• Proficient in Excel and experience working with finance or ERP systems.
