Overview

Sodue Pty Ltd is seeking a Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Cavan Team (SA).

The Role

Reporting to the Retail Accountant, this role is central to maintaining accurate records, supporting month-end processes, and assisting with general finance duties. You’ll also provide backup support to other accounts clerks, contributing to a collaborative and efficient finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process creditor invoices and prepare payment runs
  • Reconcile and balance creditor statements
  • Manage filing systems and maintain accurate records
  • Respond to internal and external account queries
  • Reconcile accounts payable and assist with month-end reporting
  • Perform general accounting duties as required
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 12 months’ experience in accounts payable
  • Good understanding of accounting processes and accounts payable
  • Experience with computerised accounting systems
  • Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
  • Sound knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Intermediate Excel skills will be highly regarded
  • A positive, team-focused attitude and attention to detail
