Our client, a fast growing Irish business is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent basis based in Clonee.

This is an excellent role for an experienced Accounts Assistant or Part Qualified Accountant whom will gain a thorough understanding of the business with the opportunity to grow.

4-5 mornings in the office. Salary €30k-€40k pro rata.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accounts receivable duties including preparing customer invoices, processing and monitoring incoming payments, dealing with customer queries etc.
• Accounts payable duties including matching invoices to accruals, supplier reconciliations, monthly payment run, dealing with supplier queries etc.
• Reconciling bank, debtors, and creditors
• Assist in month end close
• Preparation of annual audit files.
• Posting all relevant journals.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Ad hoc duties on request.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years account experience
• Good initiative and strong attention to detail
• Willing to varied finance duties as required
