Opportunity for a Qualified Accountant in Kilkenny. You will work with diverse client base, providing expert financial guidance while managing key accounting functions. You will oversee financial reporting, tax compliance, and client portfolio management while mentoring junior team members to ensure excellence across all aspects of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Oversee accounting processes, ensuring financial statements comply with FRS 102 and IFRS.
• Manage corporation tax and income tax filings with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of financial statements to Revenue and the Companies Registration Office (CRO).
• Conduct in-depth file reviews to maintain compliance and accuracy of all documentation.
• Lead, mentor, and support junior accountants, fostering professional growth and high-quality performance.
• Identify client challenges and provide tailored, effective solutions to enhance business outcomes.

Key Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CPA) with 2 years PQE.
• Proven experience working in an accountancy practice, preferably with client portfolio management.
• Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS standards.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to anticipate and address client needs.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to develop junior staff.
