Job summary

Animation Ireland is seeking a talented 3D Animator for our Dublin-based CGI production, BeddyByes. You will be responsible for high-quality character animation using Maya, delivering believable performances and maintaining production standards within deadlines.

Applicants should have strong Maya skills, a solid grasp of animation fundamentals, and prior experience in CGI TV series. This is a role focused on collaboration with the Animation Director and team in a dynamic Irish production

Qualifications

• Produce animation scenes and maintain consistency of production quality and style to agreed deadlines.
• Maintain continuity of animation within style guide parameters & schedule.
• Work with the Animation Director and Supervisor to ensure that scenes are in line with the Director’s vision.
• Character animation and Maya software experience is essential.
• Past experience in animation role for a CGI animated TV Series preferred.

Job Description:

The 3D Animator will be responsible for the quality of character animation and ensure standards are maintained using the approved rigged models, produce believable, engaging and relatable character performances for the production, and complete quotas to agreed deadlines.

They will need to ensure characters are brought to life through a variety of expressions, poses, body language and lip-syncing. They will use the approved animations as set out by the series Director to provide a consistent style using Maya software throughout the series.
