Job description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting‑edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

About The Team

The Voyager team at Anduril Industries is an engineering and design division with vast experience in developing innovative computing and communications solutions for the network edge. The Software Quality Engineering team champions quality across the entire product life cycle by embedding engineering‑driven testing into the development process. As an SDET intern, you won't just execute test cases — you'll write code to test code, building the automation, tooling, and frameworks that guarantee our products work as intended.
At Anduril, Software Quality Engineering is a development function: we actively build new products and projects while supporting production. You'll apply real software engineering skills — programming (Python), version control, and CI/CD — to bring the quality discipline directly into production, engineering, and supplier management workflows.

  • Write automated test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop test tooling — mocks, stubs, simulators, and data generators — to validate complex systems
  • Perform performance, load, and reliability testing on mission‑critical software
  • Debug across the full stack, contributing fixes to both test and production code
  • Advocate for testability, partnering with development teams to build quality in from the start

Our engineering teams develop hardware and software platforms to support a variety of applications, such as:

  • Data logging for self‑driving cars
  • Link aggregation technology for better connectivity on trains
  • Government services such as emergency response, disaster recovery and security
  • Hardware platforms used by AI/ML for object recognition – Deep learning inference engine using object detection networks like Faster R‑CNN on Intel CPUs or the integrated Intel GPU
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Completion of a bachelors or masters degree in a technical field such as Software engineering, math, or science.
  • Must be available to work full time in our Dublin office
  • Must be available to start full time in July 2027
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous internship experience within the Software Development Engineering in Test space
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively problem solve issues related embedded software and electromechanical hardware in a resource‑constrained environment
  • Demonstrated in‑kind or direct team leadership skills
  • Personal experience with linux, Git‑Lab/hub, embedded hardware systems
  • A genuine interest in software testing, and thirst for learning
  • Previous experience leading project and working with software development and/or testing, analysis, and driving improvements
