Who You Are

You are a skilled and detail-oriented web designer and developer with a strong background in building Shopify e-commerce sites. You combine design sensibility with technical execution, and you’re experienced in translating visual direction into highly functional, responsive, and immersive websites. You thrive in collaborative environments and are capable of owning end-to-end web development processes with a high standard of quality and efficiency.

Your Role

You will lead the design and development of the Brand Shopify website. This includes customizing premium Shopify themes, integrating key e-commerce functionalities, and collaborating with our visual and brand teams to deliver a high-end digital experience that reflects brand positioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build a premium Shopify store from scratch based on art direction and brand vision.
• Choose, install, and deeply customize a premium Shopify theme (Prestige, Focal, Impulse, or similar).
• Translate poetic brand identity into immersive user journeys (scroll storytelling, cinematic visuals, emotional pacing).
• Collaborate with Visual Designer to implement a luxury design language.
• Integrate apps for email (Klaviyo), reviews, subscriptions, analytics, SEO, etc.
• Customize layouts with advanced builders (e.g. PageFly, Veda Builder) or HTML/CSS/Liquid.
• Ensure mobile-first, responsive, and smooth-loading experience.
• Perform quality assurance, speed optimization, and cross-device testing.

What You Bring

• 5+ years experience designing and building Shopify stores
• Deep knowledge of Shopify theme architecture and section-based builders
• Strong command of HTML / CSS / Liquid (JavaScript basics a bonus)
• Familiarity with Klaviyo, Meta Pixel, and common Shopify apps
• Proven ability to build luxury e-commerce UX — subtle animations, whitespace, harmony
• Understanding of responsive design and web performance best practices
• Strong communication, self-management, and aesthetic taste

Bonus Skills

• Figma, Framer, or Adobe XD experience
• Experience with immersive storytelling layouts
• Comfortable with GSAP / Lottie / parallax scroll
• Able to build subtle motion design into brand universe
• Experience working with fashion, beauty, or high-end brands
