Job description

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Strategic Account Manager to support sales enablement for Essilor Luxottica (EL) Owned and Operated stores.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sales and channel marketing strategies to support the growth and sales velocity of the Wearable category in EssilorLuxottica stores.
  • Reporting on partner business performance and advocating for investments and initiatives to achieve growth ambitions.
  • Collaborating with partner sales leaders, marketing teams, and cross-functional teams including Category Management, Product Management, Business Development, Data Science, Channel Marketing, and Sales Operations.

This role reports to the Director of Sales Enablement for EssilorLuxottica Channels and requires travel to meet partner teams and conduct market visits.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or marketing roles, with a focus on business planning, tactical execution, and team management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the optical industry, specifically eyewear distribution.
  • Effective communication skills in Italian and English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various teams and adapt to different organizational functions.
  • Proven success in business planning and tactical execution, with knowledge of tools to drive retail sales.
  • Experience in go-to-market planning and execution within traditional retail channels.
  • Experience in channel marketing and category management.
