Job description

Ø International and Publicly Listed Company (PLC) from Europe, a manufacturer of industrial components with 10 global locations, is establishing a new office and warehouse in Indonesia. We are looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to manage our inventory, goods inwards, and goods outwards to a high standard.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Current Driver's Licence (car / small truck)
2. Formal Forklift Truck Qualifications and recent experience operating 5 tonne forklifts
3. At least 5-10 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution centre environment
4. Competent in using all MS Office software
5. Proficient in English, written and spoken (preferred only)

Tasks & Responsibilities:

1. The receival of goods inwards for orders and stock, involving unpacking of 20ft & 40ft containers using a container forklift
2. Participating in goods outwards, including picking, packing, and preparation of customer orders prior to dispatch, which may include heavy rolls of belting and large pallets
3. Assisting other staff with maintaining inventory and the warehouse to ensure an efficient and safe workplace
4. Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work environment at all times
5. The cutting, drilling, and general preparation of elevator (conveyor) belting to be supplied to customers as required, involving the use of cutting and automated equipment, suitable for someone with experience working with power tool equipment

Person:

1. Proven experience in a similar warehouse and/or distribution role and environment

3. Initially, as the business is in the start-up phase, the person will work autonomously and must be able to work unsupervised
4. As the company grows, it is expected that this senior person will manage and oversee others in the Indonesian warehouse team
