As Waiter/ess, youwill beresponsiblefor the following duties:

Service Excellent

• Give a warm welcome to every guest by genuine smile, eye contact, and a friendly tone


• Give attentive service by anticipate with all the guest needs


• Able to handle guest complaints calmly, apologize sincerely and take immediate action

Teamwork

• Working together as a team to ensure guest satisfactory met


• Support host/hostess with guest seating when necessary.


• Communicate to supervisor and chef about guest feedback


• Able to support another outlet in the busy operational

Upselling & Promotion

• Suggest additional menu items, specials, or promotions to enhance guest experience


• Recommend appetizers, sides, or desserts to complement main dishes also beverage option to pair the food


• Offer larger portions, premium ingredients, or special toppings.

Cashiering

• Print the guest check from the POS system accurately.


• Present the bill with clean bill holder and correct item


• Accept payment by cash, credit/debit card, or room charge according to restaurant policy.


• Return the correct change promptly, with notes and coins neatly presented and never leave cash unattended


• Balance all transactions in the POS system, submit cash, credit card slips, and signed bills to the leader in charge


• Always handle payments with professionalism and discretion.

Additional Responsibilities

• Help with opening duties, check table set up & layout, atmosphere, music, condiment and equipment for service


• Walk through dining area to ensure everything is in perfect order


• Clean and sanitize all tables, chairs, and high-touch areas during closing time


• Polish cutlery and glassware for the next day.


• Return unused items to designated storage.


• Report any shortages, damages, or maintenance issues to the supervisor.


• Ensure POS is logged out and all bills are closed


• Verify cleanliness of pantry, side stations, and waiter stations.

As Waiter/ess, weexpectfrom you:

Educational Background

• Skilled in order-taking systems (POS) and handling billing/payment transactions accurately.


• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.


• Flexibility to work split shifts, including weekends and public holidays.


• Handles guest concerns and operational challenges calmly and effectively


• Demonstrates reliability, accountability, and adherence to MOHG values and standards

Technical Proficiency

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint


• Familiarity with POS system or similar platforms Restaurant & Hotel is an advantage.
