We are currently seeking a dynamic, outgoing, and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Waiter/ess with a strong background and experience in food and beverage service, especially in a Japanese Restaurant style. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of high-quality customer service and guest satisfaction to join our energetic and passionate team at Grand Hyatt Bali.

Role: The Food and Beverage Waiter/ess will be responsible for providing guests with excellent service and assistance to enhance their dining experience.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the delivery of brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
  2. Host and serve all guests, ensuring an exceptional drinking and dining experience, creating lasting memories, and building relationships.
  3. Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries courteously and efficiently, following up to ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
  4. Have thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items.
  5. Take food and beverage orders and serve them according to established service standards.
  6. Address guest and employee inquiries courteously, report complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, and provide prompt feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in hotel operations.
  • Proven experience as a Waiter in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong understanding of high-quality customer service and guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent knowledge of menu items and presentation standards.
  • Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service.
  • Impeccable grooming and presentation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
