Description:

The VP of Network Security is responsible for:

  1. Leading the end-to-end security strategy for the company’s cellular network, ensuring compliance with Indonesian cybersecurity laws and telecom regulations.
  2. Designing, implementing, and overseeing security measures to protect against threats across core networks, 5G infrastructure, IoT, cloud, and edge computing.
  3. Collaborating with internal enterprise security teams and other internal teams to maintain a robust security posture while supporting business operations and vendors.
  4. Establishing a Zero Trust Security model, integrating authentication, network segmentation, and encryption measures.
  5. Leading security risk assessments, audits, and incident response strategies to mitigate risks proactively.
  6. Developing incident response playbooks for telecom-specific threats, such as SS7/Diameter protocol attacks, IMSI catchers, and SIM hijacking.
  7. Ensuring proactive protection against nation-state cyber threats, espionage, and cyberterrorism targeting Indonesia’s telecom infrastructure.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Minimum university degree (S1), with major study in Electrical / Telecommunication Engineering.
  2. 10+ years of experience in network security, cybersecurity, or telecom security.
  3. Expertise in telecom network security architecture (5G, 4G, Core Network, NFV/SDN, Cloud).
  4. Strong understanding of Indonesian cybersecurity laws and telecom compliance (UU PDP, KOMINFO regulations, BSSN guidelines).
  5. Experience in penetration testing, ethical hacking, SOC management, and cyber intelligence.
  6. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, GSMA Security certifications, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or local certifications (BSSN, KOMINFO) are a plus.
  7. Experience in Zero Trust Architecture, SIEM, SOAR, network forensics, and automated threat detection.
  8. Strong knowledge of GSMA security guidelines, 3GPP security frameworks, and telecom fraud prevention.
