Job description

The Head of Distribution is responsible for overseeing the implementation and daily operations of channel program management in the region. This role ensures the governance, compliance, and efficiency of distribution processes, tools, and partner networks to drive sales effectiveness and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Program Implementation & Operations: Execute and support daily channel program operations, ensuring seamless implementation.
  • Channel Governance & Compliance: Ensure governance and compliance of channel programs, tools, and processes for sales teams and external partners.
  • Sales Team & Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with sales teams to document technical, product, and contractual requirements.
  • Product & Contract Requirement Management: Monitor and maintain product/service implementation for continuous operational efficiency.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Analyze distributor and sales channel performance, identifying opportunities for optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA) in Logistics, Sales Management, or a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • 5+ years of experience in channel management, distribution, or sales operations within the telecommunications or FMCG industry.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role, managing channel programs and working with external distributors.
  • Proven track record in executing and managing channel program operations to drive business growth.
  • Experience in ensuring governance, compliance, and efficiency of distribution programs and sales partner networks.
  • Strong background in sales team collaboration and distributor relationship management.
  • Hands-on experience in product and contract management, ensuring seamless implementation and maintenance of telecom services.
  • Expertise in performance monitoring and data-driven decision-making to optimize channel efficiency.
  • Channel Program Implementation & Operations – Managing day-to-day distribution and ensuring smooth execution.
  • Governance & Compliance – Ensuring adherence to telecom regulations and internal guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Management – Coordinating with sales teams, external partners, and distributors for seamless operations.
  • Product & Contract Management – Handling product lifecycle management and contract negotiations.
  • Performance Monitoring & Data Analytics – Leveraging data to optimize distribution and operational efficiency.
  • Channel Management – Expertise in handling large-scale sales and distribution networks.
