Role Description

The Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Salatiga. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, selecting the best takes, and creating compelling video narratives that align with project objectives and brand guidelines. Daily tasks include editing video clips, applying transitions and effects, adjusting audio, and collaborating with the production team to refine concepts and storyboards. The role also involves basic color correction and grading, integrating graphics and motion elements, and preparing final files in appropriate formats for distribution on various platforms. The Video Editor will work closely with directors, content creators, and other team members to ensure all deliverables meet quality, timeline, and technical requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including experience using industry-standard editing software.
• Ability to perform Video Color Grading and basic color correction to achieve consistent visual styles.
• Competence in Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance videos with titles, lower thirds, and visual elements.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and sound design, with attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team, receive and implement feedback, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of video formats, codecs, and exporting for web and social media platforms.
• Relevant education or training in film, multimedia, design, or a related field is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a similar video editing role or a portfolio showcasing completed projects is highly beneficial.
