About The Role

A GoFood UX Writer will spend their time solving friction for users across Indonesia from day one. Depending on their assignment, their scope can cover our consumer-facing products such as GoFood, GoMart, or GoFood Merchant app for Business products, creating helpful and delightful new features, new products, and enhancing our impact for the company.

They will work closely with core Product Development Group stakeholders like Product Managers, Designers, Researchers, and Engineering teams, brainstorming and solutioning possible improvements based on our users’ needs.

What You Will Do

• Lead the content designing process in assigned streams involving stakeholders from Designers, Researchers, Illustrators, Product Managers, Business Teams, Marketing, Legal, and others, following predefined processes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Deliver features and improvements effectively within agreed timelines with high-quality output.
• Strategize ways for Gojek to communicate better with its users.
• Contribute to team discussions to improve overall quality output.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather feedback, align thoughts, give feedback, and resolve conflicts.

What You Will Need

• Proficiency in English and Indonesian grammar, with a strong understanding of language's role in society, daily conversation, and device-mediated communication.
• Excellent grasp of writing fundamentals, including structured thinking, critical and creative thinking, research, problem-solving, feedback seeking, and prioritization.
• Ability to generate original ideas and craft compelling copywriting, thinking beyond common structures.
• Ability to think like a UI/UX Designer.
• Insatiable curiosity about customers and ways to improve their lives.
