Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• 7–9 years of manufacturing engineering experience in utilities or facilities.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, and renewable energy.
• ISO 50001 certification.
• Strong managerial ability and good listening skills.
• Analytical capability for technical subjects.

Job description

As our Utility & Facility Manager, you will lead the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our utility and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations. You will oversee preventive maintenance, powerhouse operations, energy management, and facilities while driving equipment reliability, cost optimization, and sustainability initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering leader who is passionate about operational excellence and developing high-performing teams.

You will assist Engineering Manager to Organize, controlling, and supporting Plant & PowerHouse Preventive Maintenance activities. The purpose is to assure machines preventive maintenance run 100% of the scheduled time, use correct spare parts, reduce maintenance cost and produce a quality product.

You will carry out a variety of tasks of administrative nature as required by Engineering Manager.

You will plan, organize, and direct all activities associated with powerhouse operation and energy conservation program to ensure that utility is continuously and consistently supplied to the production process as required by specification to make sure that both qualities, as well as productivity objectives, are achieved in the most efficient way. While at the same time optimizing manpower, costs, and materials.

You will develop new engineering concepts for utility generation, distribution, and utilization through the engineered application. Maintain powerhouse equipment, powerhouse building, and powerhouse facilities. Train powerhouse personnel, provide maintenance assistance to powerhouse maintenance associates, and audit total powerhouse operation as required by the corporate standard.

You will be accountable for the development and implementation of Maintenance Training programs for the maintenance crew in the Engineering and Business Team of PT. Goodyear Indonesia.

You will be responsible for developing new and existing maintenance personal into qualified plant machine maintenance, troubleshooter, and repair.

You will improve and maintain the environment, health, and safety inside & outside (surrounding) powerhouse area and at the area where powerhouse-related equipment is located, such as at Factory Cooling Tower area, Return Pumps area, River Pumps area, WTP & WWTP etc.

You will plan, maintain, and budget on spare part management including inventory, withdrawal, and system order, also how to maintain the engineering spent is lowest always as per plan and have improvement plan for inventory spare part cost saving.

You will plan, organize, control, and maintain for Facilities related to supporting equipment to production & nonproduction such as chiller, cooling tower, electrical utilities also all buildings including mechanical electrical as well as civil.

What We're Looking For

You have bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)

You have 7-9 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering area especially in Utility or Facility

You have good knowledge of Engineering and maintenance, Familiarity with boilers, compressors, and renewable energy

You have certification in ISO 50001

You are a motivator; You are good at handling people, could work with others, have a strong managerial ability, and a good listener.

You have strong analytical capability and could work on the technical subject
