Job summary

Gameloft Indonesia is seeking a hands-on programmer to contribute to the development of games using Unreal Engine. You will program, debug, and optimize code to implement gameplay mechanics and features, while actively detecting issues and proposing practical solutions. You’ll operate with weekly supervision and collaborate with peers across the globe.

The role emphasizes teamwork, documentation of technical skills, and delivering high-quality outputs for a worldwide audience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of C++ language, Blue print & Unreal Engine.
• Strong in algorithms, mathematics and physics.
• Passion for game creation.
• Good problem-solving, analytical and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement gameplay features in Unreal Engine.
• Program, debug and optimize code to deliver gameplay and features.
• Proactively detect issues on the programming side and propose solutions.
• Work under weekly supervision and take direction.
• Coordinate with peers and share progress across the team.
• Document technical skills and experiences to enrich team knowledge.
• Collaborate with colleagues worldwide to deliver high-quality games.

Job description

• Take part in the development of games using Unreal Engine
• Program, debug and optimize codes to implement gameplay or features.
• Actively detect issues on programming side, take initiative and propose solutions to prevent and solve those issues.
• Subject to weekly supervision.
• Share, take part in and coordinate work with their peers.
• Documentation all technical skills and experience to enrich team’s knowledge.
• Cooperate with people from all over the world to deliver high-quality works.
  

Qualifications

• Knowledge of C++ language, Blue print & Unreal Engine.
• Good at Algorithm, Mathematics and Physics.
• Passion at Game Creation.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good team-work, a high sense of responsibility and being result-oriented.
• Ability to communicate clearly and share solutions with fellow team members.
• Experienced of 2D/3D game development using Unreal Engine is a plus.
• Experienced with iOS/Android platforms is a plus.
